My Review:Mother holding baby.

After spending plenty of time researching this breast pump, as well as reading through several customer reviews, I’ve come to a few conclusions. Number one, the Ameda Elite Hospital Grade Breast Pump is expensive. Number two, it’s incredibly easy to use and easy to clean. Number three, it’s totally worth the money if you plan on long term pumping. In fact, I normally include a “Good & Bad” section in all of my reviews, and I simply could not find any negative feedback, aside from the price, and even then, it’s actually quite affordable compared to other high-end hospital grade breast pumps. Most women, after using the Ameda Elite Breast Pump either at the Hospital, or renting it and using it at home, choose to buy it and save money in the long run, especially if they plan on having more than one child.

So, these are my final thoughts. You could rent the Ameda Elite Hospital Grade Breast Pump from the Hospital for about $50.00 dollars a month, and I actually recommend renting it for at least one month to see if you like it, but after about 12 months of use you’ll be up to about $600.00, and if you plan on having another child, you might as well have bought it to begin with. So, yes the Ameda Elite Hospital Grade Breast Pump is an investment, but in the long run, it’s totally worth it. Plus, it’s a multi-user friendly electric breast pump, therefore once you’ve finished having children, you can pass it on or sell it.

A workhorse of a pump!, July 8, 2011

By Tina,  (Ramrod Key, Florida United States)

I am currently renting the Ameda Elite Hospital Grade Double Electric Breast Pump for $49 a month but I am considering purchasing one now since I think it will be cheaper in the long run to buy instead of renting since I will be needing it for a good length of time. I was using my sister’s Ameda Truly Yours but decided to give the hospital gradebreast pump a try. What a difference! The Ameda Elite Electric Breast Pump is quiet and has suction power that other pumps don’t have. You won’t be disappointed. IF you’re on the fence about buying it, rent it first to see for yourself if it’s right for you.

OMG!!!, May 7, 2010

By Elizabeth Anderson “Liz”,(Camp Lejeune, NC)

This breast pump is awesome!! It’s the kind that the hospital lent to me for 2 weeks. I had a c-section so i had to use it for a week so i could get my milk in. By the time my milk came in I could pump 3 to 4 oz in less then 10 mins! The Ameda Elite is easy to use, and quiet!! Its light enough for me to move up and down from the first floor to the second floor of our town home. Let me just say, I bought the Medela Single Ddeluxe, and Harmony Manual Breast Pump. and those breast pumps suck compared to this one!!! It takes me like 30 mins to get out about 2 to 3 oz. That’s why I’ll have to rent this pump. eventually buy it. It really is an investment. Especially if you plan to have more children.
