Philips AVENT Breast Pumps – From Manual to Electric

Philips AVENT Breast Pumps - Makes mom and baby happyPhilips AVENT Breast Pumps offer quality at a reasonable price. So in other words, you won’t have to sell your car to buy one. And they work! They offer one of each, a manual breast pump, a single electric breast pump, and a double electric breast pump. They are clinically proven to be as effective as a hospital-grade breast pump. Now that’s saying something. Philips AVENT Breast Pumps are also one of the least expensive quality brand name breast pumps on the market. Not only do they offer a unique design, but they also offer unique operation.

One of the secrets behind Philips AVENT Breast Pumps is the 5-petal cushion massage breast shield. It is offered with all three breast pumps. It’s made of soft silicone, and offers 5 oval “petals” placed around the nipple tunnel. These petals gently massage the breast while you pump, simulating the let-down reflex much like a nursing baby would. Not only are these breast shield cushions comfortable, but they are effective. Let’s take a closer at each breast pump.

Philips AVENT Breast Pumps

The Philips AVENT Manual offers one-handed operation, and a comfortable easy-grip handle. It comes with minimal parts which makes it easy to clean and easy to assemble. What’s nice about this Philips AVENT Breast Pump is that there are no cords attached, and you don’t have to worry about running out of batteries. It’s lightweight, and takes up little space, making it the perfect breast pump to use on the go. This Philips AVENT Breast Pump comes in two variations. Philips AVENT Single Electric Breast Pump

Philips AVENT Breast Pumps - Single Electric Breast Pump

Philips AVENT Single @ Amazon for $107.03

As I said earlier, Philips AVENT Breast Pumps offers unique operation. I like to call them the “Cruise Control” pumps. Basically, once you’ve assembled your breast pump you plug it in and charge it until the green light says that you’re ready to go. To use the breast pump, you start out manually pumping, once you’ve established a comfortable rhythm, you simply click the little blue button on the handle and the Philips AVENT Breast Pump continues pumping at the same rhythm. They call it an electronic memory and one touch memory control, I call it “Cruise Control”. The Philips AVENT Single also comes with manual breast pump parts, so you can easily convert it to a manual when needed. It also comes with a nipple travel pack, bottle stand that doubles as a funnel cover, one 4 oz bottle, a newborn flow nipple, and a spare part. Philips AVENT Twin Electric Breast Pump

Philips AVENT Breast Pumps - Twin Electric Breast Pump

Philips AVENT Twin @ Amazon for $165.20

The Philips AVENT Twin operates in much the same way that the single electric breast pump operates, except as a double. You get one control pump, and one secondary pump. You use the control pump exactly the same way that you would use the Philips AVENT Single. Start out by manually pumping until you find the perfect rhythm, then push the little blue “cruise control” button and it will continue pumping. To double pump, simply attach the secondary pump to the pump unit, and it too will continue pumping at the same speed as the control pump. This Philips AVENT Breast Pump also comes with manual breast pump parts, two 4 ounce bottles, two newborn flow nipples, two nipple travel packs, spare parts, and a microfiber travel bag that carries it all.
